Target Audience

Companies and personnel who enter potential dangerous work environments, where the need for immediate rescue is essential with regard to the health and safety of operatives within a potentially dangerous working environment.

Objectives

To enable the fully trained rescue team to react safely and positively to identified dangers, guarding the operatives and if necessary activate the rescue plan and save life.

Outline Content

The checking, wearing, doffing, maintenence, cleaning and storage of breathing apparatus. The ability to define safe wearing periods of BA in conjunction with the use of a BA board. All relevent legislation. The practice of the latest rescue techniques and equipment. Equipment includes oxygen revivers, tripods and winches, stretchers, communication systems, harnesses etc. The course also covers emergency first aid. The fabric of the course is a mixture of theory and practical sessions with the accent on the hands on practical side of things in our purpose designed galleries.
