Target Audience

Personnel who have to operate in their day to day duties with irrespiable atmospheres dependent on breathing apparatus.

Objectives

To teach the wearer all pertinent legislation, carry out pre-wearers checks, donning, doffing, cleaning and storage of breathing apparatus. The ability to identify safe working periods incorporating the use of BA boards and simple calculations.

Duration

1-3 Days (depending on experience and wearings of breathing apparatus).

Outline Content

All relevent legislation. The ability to use, maintain and store your breathing apparatus correctly and safely. Theory and practical sessions again with the accent on the practical hands on experience in our custom built training facilities.

Due to the fact that the experience and wearings of breathing apparatus for each candidate is unknown, enquiries should be made at the relevant Training Centre.
