Top Man for Medium Risk Confined Spaces

Target Audience

Aimed at persons who act as Top Man (non-entry) for those working in medium risk confined spaces with difficult entry /exit.  This course follows the Medium Risk course without actual entry into the confined space.

Objectives

  • Control entry and exit of confined spaces
  • Use equipment and tools safely and in accordance with manufacturers’ specifications
  • Follow procedures and work safely
  • Deal with emergencies

Benefits

The course complies with the Level 2 VRQ (6150-06).  A nationally recognised certificate from City & Guilds and CABWI can be provided at an additional cost of the City & Guilds registration fee.
