Enclosed Space Equipment

For over 100 years, Mines Rescue have been at the fore front in the use of rescue equipment, due to the arduous nature of our work we pride ourselves on the fact that we only use the best quality equipment available. This is essential when you are relying on that equipment not only save the lives of others but to protect your own. Having this vast wealth of experience gained by rescuing from enclosed spaces the company has adopted very strict requirements for the selection and use of equipment.

Over the past years, Mines Rescue Marine have been visiting and exercising on various ships and offshore installations, discussing equipment requirements with the relevant owners representatives and senior management staff.

On this journey, we found that the vast majority of our customers have been sold equipment which did not exactly ‘meet their needs’ by suppliers who considered sales to be of a higher priority than safety. On realizing this, Mines Rescue Marine felt it essential to only recommend equipment that we use ourselves hence the reason why we now have a section of our website dedicated to equipment sales.

Being predominantly a training and rescue focused organization our team focus is on ensuring that your company purchase only the best equipment to match your own exacting requirements.

We are also able to provide a consultancy service if you are unsure as to which equipment you require, or indeed, if you have a query regarding your existing equipment.

Full training in any equipment purchased is available should it be required.

Equipment Sales

Mines Rescue Marine is able to endorse equipment suitable for work-in and rescue-from Enclosed Space. This equipment is now available on our website. Mines Rescue Marine will be pleased to discuss individual company requirements and, if necessary, visit any ship or marine site to evaluate your equipment requirements.

Equipment Hire

For specific tasks or periods, we recommend that our equipment hire package be considered. The package contains the equipment required for the related task and comes in its own container which is delivered to site and collected on completion.

Please note: instruction in the use of all equipment can be provided prior to use.

Equipment Maintenance

The Company can maintain any equipment purchased to the recommended manufacturers’ standards. A maintenance contract covering all enclosed space equipment is available.
