1. How to book
1.1 Course bookings can be made by contacting the relevant Training Centre direct
   
2. Confirmation
2.1 No contract between Mines Rescue and the customer shall exist until an order has been accepted in writing by Mines Rescue.
2.2 Places on training courses are reserved from receipt of the booking request in writing and signed by the customer (or an official purchase order).
   
3. Prices
3.1 Prices quoted are exclusive of VAT where applicable.
   
4. Payment
4.1 Invoices should be settled within 30 days of the date of the invoice.
4.2 Payment can be made by cash, cheque, VISA/Mastercard credit card or BACS
4.3 Cheques should be payable to Mines Rescue Service Ltd.
4.4 Mines Rescue reserves the right to claim interest and compensation for debt recovery costs under the late payment legislation if invoices are not settled within 30 days of date of invoice.
4.5 Mines Rescue reserves the right to withhold any certificates due to delegates until full payment of the invoice has been received.
4.6 No refund will be given for delegates who fail to complete the course or who do not achieve the required standard.

Customer Cancellation
5.1

Cancellation charges are as follows:-

Notice Period for cancellation (from date of receipt) % of fee payable on cancellation
More than 7 days prior to course commencement 0%
3-7 days prior to course commencement 50%
Less than 3 days prior to course commencement 100%
5.2 In the event that named individuals on a customer’s booking form cannot attend a course, Mines Rescue will accept a named substitute providing written notice has been given to Mines Rescue along with any further documentation requirements as deemed necessary by Mines Rescue.
   
6. Mines Rescue Cancellation
6.1 Mines Rescue reserves the right to cancel any course or to change its dates or venue. In the event of a course being cancelled by Mines Rescue, a full refund of any fees paid will be given. If a delegate is unable to attend due to changes made by Mines Rescue to venue or dates, a full refund of any fees paid for that delegate will be made. No further compensation will be given.
   
7. Resource Requirements
7.1 Where applicable, the customer should provide the necessary Personal Protective Equipment required for delegates on specific training courses.
7.2

Equipment and facilities for courses provided by the customer must be deemed adequate and fit for purpose by Mines Rescue. Where this is not so, Mines Rescue reserves the right to remove staff at any point. Full cancellation charges will be payable by the customer in such instances.
