This is the benchmark trainer skills qualification for CIEH registered trainers delivering training that is not publicly funded. It is ideal for first-time trainers who need to understand the basics of training skills and practice or those looking to refine their techniques.

1 day course in basic risk assessment.

COSHH Awareness
The control and safe use of substances hazardous to health.

IOSH Managing Safely
5 day intensive course – accredited by IOSH and designed for individuals with health and safety responsibilities.

NEBOSH Construction Certificate
The NEBOSH Construction Certificate is a qualification both for those with construction management responsibilities and for those who are required to provide routine, day-to-day advice on health, safety and welfare in construction work.
The programme of study broadly mirrors that of the National General Certificate. However, due to the specific nature of the award, the opportunity arises to cover key construction issues in rather more technical detail than would be appropriate for a general health and safety award.
Minimum 108 hours
NEBOSH General Certificate
This qualification is designed to help those with health & safety responsibilities to carry out their organisational duties and functions more effectively and to protect the organisations they work.
87 hours minimum
Safe Manual Lifting
Half day ‘user friendly’ course – which will help reduce the ‘major cause of lost time accidents’.
4 hrs
The Health & Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 and subsequent Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 make provision for information, instruction, supervision and training of all employees.
